About Wood County Habitat

Overview

Habitat for Humanity is a Christian Ministry that believes that all people deserve a simple, decent, affordable place to live. Wood County Habitat works towards the elimination of inadequate housing here in Wood County West Virginia and has been an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International since 1991. Since then, we have completed 47 homes and have provided housing for over 170 individuals.

In addition, Wood County Habitat for Humanity tithes ten percent (10%) of donations received to Habitat International. Since 1991 we have donated enough funds to build over 87 houses internationally.
